YAWN....

I'm getting better..I think.

So, Saturday I brought my hubby home and enjoyed my time with him.  Always to short of course.

Monday I wake up and have to be in a town 101 miles east of home by 7 am.  That means up and out of the house by 5 am.  Thank goodness he was home still or I would have had to take 3 grumpy girls out of school and hauled them along.

I get home at 9 in time to climb back in bed with my nice toasty warm husband.  Too bad by the time I got warm enough to sleep he was ready to get up.  Oh well, life goes on I'd only been awake since 3 after all.

About 1 we get the deadly email that says, hey we have a load for you it loads at 7 am.  So, we have to haul ourselves back to the terminal 186 miles west of home!

Did I mention that I was called by the animal shelter back in that first town.  They had a dog for me if I have room.  Yes I have room, a beautiful Shetland Sheep dog, tri-color, less than a year old.  SWEET dog.  When am I going to get this dog? Too bad I didn't know in the morning, I'd have brought him with me! But alas, I got hubby back to Denver yesterday and went North East again today to get this beautiful pup.  Pictures tomorrow!

Soooooo...if you were to adopt a dog, what breed would it be?  Do you prefer to rescue, adopt from a shelter or other organization?  Or buy from a breeder?

Why I love Rescue...

Because I'm a mental case. LOL, well at least some days.  How else could I live with.......

Boog, my big baby boy.

Sheeba, the queen of the castle.

Lady the Lazy Lapdog - don't tell her she's supposed to be a border collie, she won't believe you

Smokey, the obsessive compulsive ACD

Baba, who only puts up with me because he has to.

Izzy, the newest member of our family

Bandit, no longer with us but the absolute best dog that ever lived.

Shadow, no longer with us, the best Senior Dog a girl could ask for.

And the rescues with me today....

Piper

Lucy

Ricky

Floydd

Lets not forget the two rescues leaving this weekend, the ones I'll cry over when they are gone.  I'll miss them, but will be filled with happiness because two lives have been saved, they have new forever homes, and by leaving they open room for two more to be saved.

Daisy

Zola
